Welcome to the Counselor's Corner of the Jim Ned Web!

I have been in education since 1991. I taught high school math for eleven years before becoming the JNHS counselor in 2002.

I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BS in Math Education and a Masters in Counseling. I loved teaching math. I enjoy my many counseling duties even more.

In my job, I have the privilege of working with every student in high school. Scheduling, testing, college preparations and career information are just a few of my responsibilities. I schedule visits to classrooms but students can visit me at any time throughout the school year.

My husband is Hunter Cooley, Jim Ned Business Manager. We are blessed with 2 daughters. Halle is a third grader at Lawn Elementary and Gracee was born August 1, 2007.
