State Farm Scholar Athlete
The State Farm Scholar Athlete Program remains the largest statewide atheltic scholarship program in Texas an dplaces great emphasis on academic distinciton and personal leadership as well as athletic achievement. Texas Engineering Foundation
The Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) and the Texas Engineering Foundation (TEF) will award approximately $100,000 in scholarships to engineering students attending an ABET- accredited university. For more information, see Mrs. Cooley.
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) knows that the serious illness of a child can have a significant impact on the entire family- not only is there the physical aspect of an illness, but there is also an emotional and financial impact that cannot be overlooked. TCU Neely School of Business
The TCU Texas Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Awards is now accepting scholarship applications from students who have started their own businesses. Burger King Scholars
Burger King Scholars awards are $1,000 each and may be used for educational expenses, such as tuition and books. To qualify you must be a high school senior and a resident of the US, Canada or Puerto Rico and meet other guidelines as listed on their website at www.haveityourwayfoundation.org Applications are available online at the above website. The deadline for this scholarship is February 1, 2010.
Texas Art Scholarship
The Goss-Michael Foundation Texas Art Scholarship is merit-based in the amount of $5,000. To be eligible, students must pursue a degree in visual arts upon graduation. Please see Mrs. Cooley for more information and to apply for this scholarship. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is March 31, 2010.
Helen Jones Foundation
The Helene Jones Foundation has provided an endowment to the College of Mass Communications at Texas Tech University to fund fifteen $3,000 undergraduate scholarships to graduates of high schools located in West Texas. Recipients of these scholarships must major in some area of mass communications.

Dr. Robert & Jean Ann LeGrand Scholarship
The Dr. Robert & Jean Ann LeGrand Scholarship was established at Angelo State University to assist graduating seniors from are high schools who are interested in pursuing their educational goals at Angelo State University.
