Scholarships in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems are made available by the Dodge-Jones Foundation of Abilene, Texas to students entering ACU, HSU or McMurry University. First time freshmen and transfers intending to enroll in any of the Abilene Intercollegiate institutions may request an application from the Enrollment Services or Financial Aid Offices at the school(s) of their choice. Applications must be received by the school no later than June 1st.

Students who have been enrolled in a compensatory education program my apply for this scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded during the ACET Spring Conference and provides $1,000 to the recipient to be used within a year from the time the scholarship is awarded. The Fasken Foundation top 5% Scholarship will award $750 per semester for tuition, fees and books. Renewable for 2 years or 4 semesters if qualifications are met. Students will be selected by the Midland College Scholarship Committee with approval from the Fasken Foundation. Applications may be picked up in Mrs Cooley's office and must be turned in to the financial aid office at Midland College. The deadline is April 25, 2008
