Welcome to Jim Ned Lawn Elementary. My name is Glenda Bowden and I have been the principal at Lawn Elementary since July 1995. Prior to coming to Jim Ned I taught math and chemistry at Wylie High School. I have really enjoyed being with the Jim Ned Schools. Many parents here are former students of mine and I have enjoyed seeing them in a new role. I look forward to the next few years with the Jim Ned schools. I enjoy seeing students learn and grow.The Lawn TEAM of teachers, parents, students, and community has become a strong, cohesive group which supports the success of our students.
My husband and I live just outside of Lawn. We have two married daughters. Our older daughter and her husband are also teachers and live in Edmond, OK. Our younger daughter and her husband live in Red Oak, TX.
