This is my fifth year at Jim Ned High School. I am glad to be an Indian!
Before moving to Jim Ned, I enjoyed 12 years as the principal at Merkel Middle School. I taught and coached at Reagan County for 17 years before moving to Merkel. My first 2 years in education were at Edna.
The past four years have been very rewarding for me. Jim Ned has a great reputation for excellence in academics and athletics. Last year was exciting with 2 state championships and a runner-up title. We had two individual state champions in Academic UIL and a state champion team also. We had two individuals win state in track and field. I enjoy watching the students compete in all extra-curricular activities.
I look forward to many years working with the teachers, students and parents at Jim Ned High School.

I have had the privilege of serving the Jim Ned School District for the past 11 years as a Teacher, Coach, and the last four as the Assistant Principal. My previous experiences have been at Van Horn High School, Van Horn, Texas (1994-1997) and Crockett Middle School in Pecos, Texas (1992-1994). I would like to say without a doubt that the students at Jim Ned High School are truly blessed to have the faculty and staff they have. I have not been at a place where the teachers work as hard, care as much, and take pride in the school as ours do. Our successes are proof of the hard work done by our students and teachers. My family and I are looking forward to many more years in this great place. Live Simply, Love Generously, Care Deeply, Speak Kindly, and Leave the Rest to God.
