How can I make the icons in the tool bar larger? Go to Menu/Preferences/Customize Toolbar.

When the Workspace Interwrite software opens, I only see a toolbar. How to I get a page to work with? Click on the 2nd icon in the toolbar (menu) and go to Page, new page or click on the blank page icon on the toolbar.

How can I make the PC and the wireless pad communicate? Install the Bluetooth sofware from the CD only if you have WIN2000--not necessary with XP or MacOSX. Reboot after installing Bluetooth. Be sure the pad is turned on (back sliding button).
Click on the Bluetooth shortcut on your desktop and find Bluetooth devices. Put a checkmark in auto connect.

How can I freeze the picture on the whiteboard for the students and go to other sites or check email on my PC?
The NEC VT695 projector remotes have a freeze button--press it a 2nd time to unfreeze.

How can I use the whiteboard to "mark up" a worksheet that is displayed with my Elmo document camera?

Run the InterWrite Workspace software and put it in mouse mode. Then run the Elmo software in full screen mode. As soon as you select one of the annotation tools on the Workspace, it will take a screen capture of the Elmo image for you to mark up then return to mouse mode for the next page. Repeat. This will place each successive page in order. When you are done, go to the Workspace menu and chose: File- Export. You can then save the pages as a PDF or Jpeg.

How to Make a Link in Workspace Software

Choose the item that you want to link with the selection tool (the arrow on the toolbar). You can make anything that can be "selected" a link.
So, if you want to type an actual web address first using the text tool and then select that text with the selection arrow, then you can make the text a link. Once you choose something with the selection tool (arrow), you will see a little chain link in the task bar at the bottom of the Workspace window.
Click on that chain link to get the option to make a link and just type the full internet address into the box. This will add a "link" icon to your selected item.
