Dear Parents:
Last year was an exciting year for Jim Ned Lawn Elementary: 2006 No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School; finalist for National Title I School, Texas Business and Education Coalition Honor Roll School! This year the honors continue to come! Again we are named an Honor Roll School by The Texas Business and Education Coaltion. Lawn Elementary was also named by Texas Monthly as one of the best schools in Texas (but of course, you've known that for many years!) The TEA (Texas Education Agency)has designated us as an exemplary campus (again!) and we have also been given Gold Performance acknowledgments in mathematics, reading, writing, and science. The TEAM at Lawn continues to be strong!
Please celebrate these honors with us. Only through teamwork are these honors possible. Thanks to the parents, the students, and the community for being a part of our TEAM.
